Siete invitati a unirvi alla nostra comunità per il Festival delle Nazioni che si terrà a St. Louis presso il Tower Grove Park. L’associazione St Louis-Bologna Sister Cities, la Comunità degli Italiani, il CLUB Giovani Italiani St Louis e il CLUB Italiano Per Piacere allestiranno, per l’occasione, una tavolata con stand gastronomici, giochi e premi. L’evento si terrà nei giorni di sabato 25 agosto, dalle 10.00 alle 19.00, e domenica 26 agosto, dalle 10.00 alle 18.00.

Il Festival delle Nazioni è il primo evento multiculturale per la città di St. Louis, con la partecipazione di oltre 40 stand gastronomici etnici, musica e danze non-stop, prodotti artigianali e un bazar internazionale con souvenir unici da tutto il mondo.

Quest’anno la comunità è orgogliosa di partecipare a questo evento multiculturale e, con il supporto dell’associazione internazionale Bologna Sister Cities, il World Trade Center di St. Louis e l’International Institute, allestirà uno stand dedicato proprio alla nostra città gemellata, BOLOGNA.

Oltre agli stand culturali, ci saranno anche tavoli riservati ai singoli e alle famiglie che fanno parte della comunità italiana di St. Louis. Ai bambini sotto i 14 anni verranno offerti dei graditi sacchetti sorpresa, e sarà assegnato anche un premio al bambino che indosserà il costume ‘’italian carnevale style’’ più creativo (al concorso possono partecipare solo gli under 14). Ci sarà un premio per il miglior costume maschile e uno per il miglior costume femminile.

L’evento è gratuito, ma chiediamo ai singoli e alle famiglie di iscriversi, comunicando in anticipo la loro partecipazione, così da poter preparare e riservare abbastanza posti. Per iscriversi è sufficiente mandare una mail a stlouisitalians@gmail.com

You are invited to join our community for the Festival of Nations at Tower Grove Park in St Louis. The St Louis - Bologna Sister Cities Organization along with the Comunitá degli Italiani - St Louis, Giovani Italiani Saint Louis, and CLUB Italiano Per Piacere are hosting an Italian table and booth with games and prizes. The Festival will last from Saturday, August 25, 10am - 7pm until Sunday, August 26, 10AM - 6PM.

The Festival of Nations at Tower Grove Park is St Louis' premier multicultural celebration, featuring over 40 ethnic food booths, non-stop dance and music, arts and crafts, and an international bazaar with unique gifts from around the world.

This year the Italian community is proud to be a part of this multicultural event. With assistance from Sister Cities International, the World Trade Center - St Louis, and the International Institute, our community will feature a booth dedicated to our sister city: BOLOGNA

Other than our cultural booth, we have tables reserved for individuals and families who are part of the Italian community in St Louis. Goody bags will be given to all children under the age of 14. There will also be a prize for the most creative children's "Italian carnevale style" costume. Children have to be under age 14 to participate. There will be one prize for the best boys' costume and one for the best girls' costume.

The event is free but we ask that individuals and families register to take part in our festivities so that we can prepare accordingly and reserve enough seats. To register, please email stlouisitalians@gmail.com
