Italian Soccer Champs in St Louis

Simone Valentino, Emil Antonacci, Vittorio Sasso, and Massimiliano Simonazzi are Italian soccer players performing at the university level in the St Louis region. All four champs were born and raised in Italy and obtained scholarships through their respective universities. Simone plays midfield for Truman State University. Emil, Vittorio, and Massimiliano play for Maryville University. 

JOIN US on Sunday, October 20 at 2:30PM as we watch the Truman State vs Maryville University match at the Maryville Soccer Stadium located at 650 Maryville University Drive, St Louis Mo 63104. After the game there will be an apperitivo hosted by Alessandro and Tiziana Valentino. All are welcome. 

General Admission is $5 and can be paid upon arrival.
Children under 6 are admitted free

ABOUT THE PLAYERS

Massimiliano Simonazzi comes from Castelnovo di Sotto, Reggio Emilia, and is the goalkeeper for the Maryville team. 

Vittorio Sasso comes from Bassano del Grappa, Veneto, and plays midfield for the Maryville team. Vittorio played for C.S. Sant’ Agnostino in the Eccellenza last season and also played for Bassano Virtus 55, a member of the Serie C level, for 12 years. 

Emil Antonacci comes from Torino, Piemonte, and plays defense for the Maryville team. 

Simone Valentino comes from Genova, Liguria, and plays midfield for Truman State. Simo played for four seasons at Ladue Horton Watkins and was a member of three district championship teams.
